PLANNING MEETING 7:30 PM - HQ
DISCUSSION:
- Story/Planning meeting
- "Financial Report"? -- And good things the Foundation
has done over the last year.
- A "Durk" article on Tom?
- An article highlighting an artist?
- NY EAW promotion. We may want to do more than an "ad"
this time around.
- The Foundation Thanks (to be added to e-mail version as well).
- Listing of Foundation events with hard dates. (Any action on
Faultline, etc. dates?)
- An other "informational" article?
- What's the Foundation? What's Tom's Company? Tom's Men? Tom's
Parties? Tom's ..... Let's do an article for Dispatch (and website)
that explains the confusion that may people may harbor.
- Elimination of EAG in small (4-page) Dispatch? Drop 4-color if
EAG eliminated? Web site emphasis for EAG in the future.
- "Image of the Year" selection required by 03/03/05 --
Louie's materials date.

PLANNING MEETING 1:00 PM - HQ
DISCUSSION:
- Based on finances, we will continue to publish two issues in '05
- one four-page and one eight page. Dates TBD. Should they be Erotic
Weekend "scheduled" as in the past? When is four? When
is eight? To be sent to all on mailing list (to "solicit"
new members)
- How does the EAG "perform". How do we track sales on-line
and print? How should artists and ad for sale be presented?
- The Dispatch should herald all the good things the Foundation
does. Remember that there are members who's primary interest isn't
the art!
- Fundamental changes in the design and editorial policy. Nail down
exactly what we NEED to accomplish with the newsletter and what
we HOPE to accomplish. Unify the overall tone.
- Sponsors/Ads?
- Look at printing estimates and costs of editorial staff.
- Louis to put together prices from Charlie Chan for four and
eight pages? Base it on 5,400 copies. Coated. Half of the pages
color and half b/w.
- Need to see of postage would go up for an 8-pager.
