Master of Ceremonies: Durk Dehner Prizes: Richard Wienecke Contest: John Jockinsen Lay-out and Equipment: Doug O'Connor. Graphics: David Specht. SPONSORS: TomsMen, Faultline, Vintage, 665, Instigator, MSR, Blake Blue, David Specht's Co. PREP: 11/06 Set-up: 10am Meet at Laveta. Finish pulling equipment, materials and supplies. Pack/load. Sharp, John, Richard. David S. drops off T-shirts. 11:30 @ Bar. Create "stations" for Artists. Create area for photography. Light stations and stage. Finish hanging posters and banners. NOON Doug O'Connor brings handbill backing board. Prep. Finish hanging. 7:00 Faultline pre-set-up. -Vintage arrives to create their "booth". -Kira takes TOM figure and starts to work on it. 8:00 - 9:00 Faultline Set-up. -Artists arrive. Doug and Sharp assist in their set-up as needed. Danny Babcock can help? -Goldie arrives to do bank and set-up door. Purchase drink tickets for "workers"? -John J. and Stephen Blackwell arrive. Set up judges area and materials. -Andre arrives to set-up video. -Photographers (Benno and Jay) arrive -Richard arrives w/ prizes and sets-up area for them near stage. Scott checks in Volunteers and let's em know whatz going on. 8:30 Judges, presenters and their Volunteer helpers arrive. Sharp, John J., DD go over procedure w/ em. DD get info on presenters for their introductions. EVENT 9:00 STARTS ARTIST STATIONS - Kira Od draws on tats w/ markers. - Rick Castro does preview of his new book, "13 Years of Bondage". - Hector Silva shows his work and offfers prints for sale. - Vinatge Tattoo Art Parlor does "demo" on Shawn then is open for business! FOUNDATION ACTIVITIES - Photographer to record patron's tattoos. (Mark Jones as assistant?) - Volunteers put on Tom of Finland temporary tattoos (inside & outside line?) - Sales of event T-shirts. - Tattoo contest. Sign up folks in line? Get contestants through line faster? * Andre has video camera to live feed to monitors inside and outside. 9:15 DD introduces Shawn Farsworth on stage. General thanks. Points out Artists. Shawn say he's getting tattoo now and invite others to join. DD invites contestants to "join". Shows prizes w/ Richard. 9:30 CONTEST: 1st Heat. Sharp wrangles conrtestants to John J. John signs em up and gives em a number. They go on stage one at a time. John gives judges their #. Three judges seated with clipboards and judging forms. DD introduces them. Peter & Scott take forms and tabulate them. Raffle #1 Onstage during tabuation. Richard and Christoper Monti. Give WINNERšS results to DD who announcers 3 winners who come back on stage. DD introduces presenter, STEPHEN BLACKWELL. Richard gives prizes to Stephen and he gives em to 3rd place, second place and first place winners. DD talk up prizes artists and sponsors. 10:30 CONTEST: 2nd Heat. Sharp wrangles conrtestants to John J. John signs em up and gives em a number. They go on stage one at a time. John gives judges their #. Three judges seated with clipboards and judging forms.DD introduces them. Peter & Scott take forms and tabulate them. Raffle #2 Onstage during tabuation. Richard and Madison. Give results to DD who announcers 3 winners who come back on stage. DD introduces presenter, KidRacerX Richard gives prizes to KidRacerX (Matt) and he gives em to 3rd place, second place and first place winners. DD talk up prizes artists and sponsors. 11:30 CONTEST: 3rd Heat. Sharp and wrangles conrtestants to John J. John signs em up and gives em a number. They go on stage one at a time. John gives judges their #. Three judges seated with clipboards and judging forms. DD introduces them. Raffle #3 Onstage during tabuation. Richard and Jason. Peter & Scott take forms and tabulate them. Give results to DD who announcers 3 winners who come back on stage. DD introduces presenter, Greg Day. Richard gives prizes to Greg and he gives em to 3rd place, second place and first place winners. DD talk up prizes artists and sponsors. 11:00 Scott checks in Volunteers and let's em know whatz going on. 12:30 CONTEST: FINALS DD calls for 3 1st place WINNERS back on stage. They step down and rotate on stage and are judged again one at a time (new criteria/original forms). John gives judges their #. Three judges seated with clipboards and judging forms. DD introduces them. Peter & Scott take forms and tabulate them. Give results to DD who announcers 3 Grand winners who come back on stage. DD introduces presenter, Scott. Richard gives prizes to Scott and he gives em to 3rd place, second place and first place winners. DD talk up prizes artists and sponsors. 1:00 DD, Scott, Mike, Richard, John on stage. (Doug has to leave early.) Final thanks to all. Goodnight! 1:15 Sharp and John wrap anything that needs taking. (decor to stay up through Sunday.) 2:00 Goldie takes home all that money!! Clean-up: 11/9 pm. Sharp. P/U banners and lights. Shawn's crew will take care of undressing bar. |
