Three statues
were auctioned off February 27th at Just John’s – St.
Louis’ premier nightclub for the LGBT community. The artist,
Philip Hitchcock, named the proceeds to benefit Tom of Finland Foundation
and Growing American Youth.

Richter For Spexter
— the first 100-page coffee table book by photographer Ulli
Richter — is a sometimes humorous, sometimes darker look, at
the Gay Male Fetish! It contains images created for a unique product
catalogue for famous German fetish brand Spexter Munich.
Ulli Richter was born in
a small East German village on the Czech border. In his early years
as a child he was widely traveled, accompanying his parents to most

A coffee table book by
Dr. Kevin Clarke, Porn from Warhol to X-Tube covers the history
of gay porn with hundreds of color-plates and fascinating facts.
It’s an essential
and influencing component of art and pop culture. Especially when
it comes to the self concept of gay men — pornography plays
a very important part. Because no matter how the individual thinks
about it: The gay rights movement and the triumphal procession of
porn media happened at the same time and they have determined each
other in a lot of ways.

porn is damn exciting. It has come a long way from the discrete beginnings
in the early sixties to pay per minute porn which we can see directly
