MICHAEL KIRWAN (American, 1953-2018), Easy Access II, 2014, Marker on paper
“Michael was the first artist-in-residence at Tom of Finland Foundation, and the room he inhabited at TOM House is now officially named ‘The Kirwan Solarium’. In his work, his ‘everyman’ characters are perfect specimens of lust. Everything the artist attempts is far, far from average. He has weathered many storms, always staying true to his trade.” – Durk Dehner, My Gay Eye
