Hollywood sexual “fixer” Scotty Bowers has died at the age of 96.
Bowers, who famously said he arranged sexual liaisons for stars such as Rock Hudson and Bette Davis, was the subject of director Matt Tyrnauer’s 2017 documentary Scotty and the Secret History of Hollywood. He died Sunday at his home in Los Angeles’s Laurel Canyon and is survived by his sister, Phyliss.
In his best-selling 2012 memoir, Full Service: My Adventures in Hollywood and the Secret Sex Lives of the Stars, he revealed a history many people would still rather not know, saying he arranged same-sex lovers or three-ways for icons such as Cary Grant, Katharine Hepburn, Spencer Tracy, Lana Turner, Ava Gardner, and many more.
Scotty visited TOM House, and we always enjoyed how he would stir a drink…
Quite a figure. We will certainly miss his brand of sparkle.
